Fundraising events for Putnam Choir

• Friday, Feb. 5

Celebrate Black History Night and support Haiti relief efforts at 7 p.m. at Rex Putnam High School. Admission: $10 and $5 for students/senior citizens; 50 percent of admission goes to Haiti relief through the American Red Cross.

Performers: Richard Probasco, Daryl Dixon, Rex Putnam Choralaires and A Choir.

• Saturday, Feb. 13

Join Rex Putnam choir students for lunch at Imperial Garden, 15350 SE McLoughlin Blvd., from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The students will be serving and cleaning and will receive 30 percent of receipts plus 100 percent of the tips. Funds will help send the A Cappella Choir to perform in Seattle.

• Saturday, Feb. 13

Support choir students by coming to their car wash at Ace Hardware, 15350 SE McLoughlin, today from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. At the same time, students will be collecting cans and bottles in the parking lot of Office Max, 15550 SE McLoughlin (next to Imperial Garden).
