Silbermann said they had been shooting at Madison High School in Portland, which will double as Forks High School, and needed to find a greenhouse, which brought them to CCC.
“[The scene at CCC] is an extension of the biology room [at Madison], a field trip to a greenhouse,” Silbermann said.
The shoot at CCC lasted most of Friday, and they planned on finishing it all in one day.
Silbermann said that although the author of the book on which the film is based didn’t have an active role in drafting or approving the script, she was “involved in liking it, and it was very important to us that Stephenie [Meyer] like the script … Obviously things kind of change with a movie, but she understands that.”
Catherine Hardwicke, who directed “Thirteen” and “Lords of Dogtown,” will direct the film, which Silbermann said will be rated no higher than PG-13, as it has no profanity or gore.
It is set for release around December 2008.

Thanks for the story! It's nice to hear inside stuff with Twilight! However, you called her Isabella Swan. Anyone who has actually read the book knows that Isabella prefers to be called Bella :P Other than that, great work ^^

Okay well there's no field trip to a green house but whatever. I'm interested to see what happens there. As long as it's not completely random...but anyways. Thanks for posting the info! You're deffinately making Twilighters happy (even if the info your giving isn't). Enjoy the cast!

great story! I'm glad there wont be profanity or gore b/c that one of the parts I love about Stephenie's books, they are clean. Even the steamy love sceans are tame, but still HOT! :) Thanks Twilightmoms for the heads up on this article.

Seriously, this is not a teen book, is for teens and also for older people like me...I'm 32 and love it, and I am as excites as everyone else for the movie....GREAT STORY, AND I'M ALSO COUNTING THE DAYS UNTIL DEC 12.
