EUGENE – Oregon City High School graduate Trevor Ferguson, who won a state championship in the triple jump in the spring, added to his accomplishments over the weekend.
Ferguson, who hopes to compete for the University of Oregon as a walk-on, leaped a school record 48-1 in the triple jump at the Track City Classic, held at Oregon’s Hayward Field. It was a 1-1/2-foot personal record for Ferguson, who held the old school record at 46-6-1/2.
